I am still enjoying this series, though I still don’t really know what is going on. I am starting to get annoyed by the visual overlays that happen, especially during some of the fighting scenes. The visual snow does get annoying. Though that is nothing compared to GENEON’s practice of screwing it’s customers. I thought it was bad enough to have only 4 episodes on the DVD, but when after 4 DVD’s of 4 episodes they only put 3 on the 5th DVD and release it for the same price, they are just trying to gouge their customers who have been loyally purchasing the series!

In this part we get more of the fall of the city, and finally see the surface, but as to what is going on, I still really can’t say.

Both the Orugano and the Order are under attack by the Class and their texhnolyzed warriors (from the city itself) who are called the Shape. These are full cyborgs with only their heads left. Ichise is sent by Oonishi to get the doctor to help his men, and ends up going with her to the surface on a mission to try and get them to stop the crazed mad man from the class who is trying to “make his playground bigger.” Whatever that means! And Ran has gone to the city and is drawing people to her and the obelisk in the middle of the city. We also learn that the obelisk is the source of the Texhnolyzed limbs power, and without it a person must use attachments and batteries to even move on the surface.

I am enjoying this series, and still don’t know what is going on. I am wondering how long this series is as it is already longer than either HAIBANE RENMEI and SERIAL EXPERIMENTS LAIN.
