Hmmm, not sure what to say about this show. It certainly didn’t live up to my expectations from Hamashaki Hiroshi. There aren’t so many deep meanings going on as in his other series, thought it always seemed deeper than it appears to have actually been. Honestly at the end I can’t say exactly what went on. And the annoying static over the animation so often was really starting to annoy the hell out of. I guess this is just about the downfall of humanity, and one man trying to survive no matter what.

Ichise gets out of Lucaas this time and to the surface world, but finds it a dead world, where his limbs have to run on batteries, but he is the only one really alive, everyone else is a shadow. As he leaves he runs into his friend, the gay guy who has been fully texhnolyzed by the Class into the Shape. Ichise wins, and returns to Lucass, but the world has gone mad, I guess driven crazy by RAN, their seer, and Onishi loses it too and kills her by stabbing the temple which used to give the power to texhnolyzed limbs, but he is killed, but all the people who do it are killed by Ichise, who is the only one to move. Al the Shape can no longer move and are growing into the ground, but are still alive, and Ichise confronts the one who did it, who turns out to be Ran’s sister, and since Ran is dead Ichise kills him and lays down to die I think. And some strange hologram comes out of his arm. Not sure why only he can move, I guess the doctors doing. And what happened? Who knows.

An alright series, that had more potential than the actual payoff. Oh well. At least it is over.
