I have to thank my friend Ryan Hill for my obsession with this little known in the US, but well known worldwide BBC Sitcom. I am dyeing to see Season 8 and the new Red Dwarf Movie that has been in Production for so long. This is the single best sitcom I have ever seen, and one of the greatest science fictions shows ever!

This is the story of the mining ship Red Dwarf a huge starship flying through the universe with the worlds most annoying man Arnold Judas Rimmer (Chris Barrie) and the world slobbiest man his roommate David Lister (Craig Charles). Rimmer is smeg head and prat who has been in the service for over 14 years and is only a second technician who constantly fails the Astronavigation exam. Lister is the lowest man on the ship and hates his annoying roommate. He gets caught by the captain with a photograph of him and his cat Frankenstein. He is told to give it up or he will have to go into stasis for the rest of the 18 months of the voyage. He refuses to give up the cat, because he wants to get a land grant in Fiji to and build a donut and hot dog stand with his cat and raise sheep.
