Hours: * Mon 11am-3pm * Tue-Sun 11am-10pm

GOOGLE MAP

Right in the heart of Downtown, this is a very good (though not amazing) greek restaurant, with beer and wine that is a great for a quick bite for lunch, or if you are heading to the AMC theaters for a movie. The food is tasty, and the service is quick (and has changed, you now sit down and they give you menus and take your order instead of ordering at the counter which you used to do). Well worth a quick bite.

Of course you can park in any of the miriad free structures around Burbank, and the downtown even has free WIFI now (a nice bonus for a new iPhone owner).

The food is reasonably priced, and quite tasty. I got a beef gyro plate, which has 2 pita breads cut in half to make your own gyro’s out of, and includes lettuce, excellent lemony rice and yogurt sauce and your meat. Kelly got a Greek Salad, and it was huge and delicious, and with an ice tea the total was just over $20. Very inexpensive.

The worst thing is that they seem new to waiting on you, and I never got my ice tea refilled and had to call them to get a check and to give them a card to pay, but it didn’t detract from the experience.

Sure the decor is funky with Greek things and wine, mixed in with Corona birds and surf boards, but it doesn’t really detract.

Certainly not the best Greek food you could have, but certain work checking out if in a rush.

Certainly can’t be considered real greek food with the instant rice, and substandard pita bread, but still not that bad in a rush, if only because of the yogurt sauce. This is an OK fast food place, that is probably at least a little healthier than your local burger joint. And this one is at the new best buy/target mall, so if you are looking for a quick bite it won’t kill you.

I didn’t go for the fries, but the steak ka-bob combo, which has instant yellow rice, awful pita bread, that you can’t split, and some decent Tzatziki cucumber yogurt sauce. And the steak was pretty decent.

Kelly had a steak gyro, and she seemed to enjoy hers at least once she bathed the instant rice in lemon.

OK, though not great, with a strange mix of music coming over the speakers.
